David R Tollafield

Author and former Podiatrist & Lecturer

David qualified in podiatry in 1978 from London and has been a clinical practitioner, lecturer, and researcher at a number of universities and colleges, as well as in the NHS and private hospitals, throughout a 40-year career in the Midlands. He has served on the Council and as a Faculty Dean for the Royal College of Podiatry, holding two fellowships and an Honorary Fellowship from the Institute of Podiatrists, acting as a consultant advisor.

After retiring from clinical practice in 2018, he began publishing independently and continues to support the promotion of both podiatry and foot health practitioners. He now lives with his wife and their cat in Devon and has started to turn his hand to fiction writing under the pseudonym R.C.Blyth.
