
The Institute of Podiatrists Workshop with Michael Ratcliffe
The Institute of Podiatrists is delighted to invite Michael Ratcliffe (DPodM, BSc, MSc, Cert Ed, MRCPod, FRCPodM, FFPM RCPS(Glasg) to deliver this highly informative session on behalf of their Education Faculty.
Michael qualified as a Podiatrist from the University of Brighton in 1989. Michael has NHS, commercial, industrial and academic experience and is currently employed by Cuxson Gerrard & Co. Ltd training Allied Health and Medical Professionals in the clinical use of the Cuxson Gerrard products offering and delivering lectures/workshops throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
He continues to work also, part time in private practice.
Application of Low Dye Taping using Elastic Adhesive Bandage for First Step Pain Relief in Plantar Fasciopathy
This highly practical and interactive workshop is designed to equip clinicians with the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to effectively use Low Dye taping with elastic adhesive bandages for patients experiencing plantar fasciopathy.
Attendees will be shown a live demonstration and are invited to practice sessions post workshop on the Institute stand, gaining practical insights into tape selection, application techniques, and strategies to maximize first-step pain relief.
The session emphasizes evidence-informed methods, allowing clinicians to confidently integrate these techniques into their practice immediately, improving patient outcomes and enhancing everyday clinical care.
