Are all Antimicrobial Dressings the Same? Clinical Study Data on Two Novel Antibiofilm Dressing Technologies

Join Rebecca Rodger and Dr. Daniel Metcalf as they explore the science behind biofilm in hard-to-heal wounds and why not all antimicrobial dressings deliver the same outcomes.

This session will cover:

    • The role of biofilm in delayed healing and strategies for effective biofilm management.
    • Evidence from real-world practice and randomised controlled trials comparing standard of care to:
      • An antibiofilm silver Hydrofiber dressing.
      • A new nitric oxide-generating dressing for diabetic foot ulcers.
      • Practical insights on optimising silver dressing use, including the “two-week challenge”.

Delegates will leave with actionable knowledge to improve clinical decision-making and patient outcomes in foot and ankle wound care.
